A Shared Living Provider (SLP) is an individual or family who opens their home to a person with developmental or intellectual disabilities, providing them with personalized care and support in a safe, family-like environment. Unlike traditional facility-based care, shared living focuses on integration, independence, and inclusion, helping each individual live a meaningful life within a community setting.
The ultimate goal of an SLP is to create a stable, supportive, and family-like home where the individual can thrive. Shared living not only enhances independence but also fosters belonging, growth, and a better quality of life.
At TEAM-LLC (Together Everyone Achieves More, LLC), we believe that every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and supportive home where they can grow, heal, and thrive. Through our Foster Care Training and Placement Program, we work hand in hand with families and communities to ensure foster children receive the love, stability, and guidance they need.
TEAM-LLC is licensed to provide foster care placements for children who cannot safely remain in their biological homes. Our placement process is carefully structured to match each child with the right foster family:
TEAM-LLC prepares foster families through comprehensive training programs designed to equip them with the skills and confidence needed to care for foster children:
we understand that foster children often face unique challenges, emotional, academic, and behavioral that require specialized, consistent support beyond the home and school environment. Our Day and Evening Reporting Center (DERC) is designed to provide foster youth with a safe, structured, and nurturing space that promotes stability, growth, and positive outcomes.
The DERC program serves as both a preventive and supportive intervention, giving foster children a constructive environment where they receive guidance, supervision, and opportunities to learn and grow. The center operates during daytime and evening hours, ensuring flexibility for foster families, caseworkers, and the courts.
The evening program provides a structured alternative to unmonitored free time, reducing risk factors for negative behaviors. It includes:
Through the Day and Evening Reporting Center, TEAM-LLC creates a bridge between foster homes, schools, and the community—helping foster children build resilience, independence, and hope for a brighter future
